Heather Brazeau
is a professional singer and vocal instructor with over 25 years of formal training and experience. Heather has been a vocal coach at studios in the Ottawa Area for the past 15 years. She enjoys coaching students of all levels and is passionate about encouraging and supporting her students through their vocal journey.
In addition to teaching music lessons, throughout her career she has been involved with planning and stage management of various recitals, workshops, concerts and productions as well as coaching rock band camps and high school co-op programs.
She also enjoys teaching beginner piano, music theory and songwriting. She is passionate about performance coaching and helping her students prepare for auditions, shows, competitions, studio recording and Kiwanis Festival and Royal Conservatory of Music Exams.
Heather enjoys professional development and in recent years has taken courses with the Royal Conservatory of Music and Berklee College of Music.
Her personal experience ranges from solo performances at numerous events, choirs, musical theatre, singing competitions, studio collaborations and performing with local bands.
Her favourite genres to sing range from Rock, Metal and Classical to Pop, Musical Theatre and Jazz.
Heather enjoys helping inspire her students to explore and achieve their singing goals through learning a balance of healthy technique, strength and control, stage presence and creativity.
